Why am I converting a gas car to electric power ?

Well for the following reasons mostly --

The first because I'm concerned about Pollution Problems. Second, because I think we need to do something about Energy Independance in our country and to stop fighting for oil in foreign countries. And lastly because I think it is a neat technology and want to help push it along into the mainstream.
